1. Who we are
Devyou is a software engineering service operated by Sabenico, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit devyou.ai, purchase a membership, communicate with us, or work with us.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, business name, email address, billing address, tax identification information, project details, product materials, support messages, and other information you choose to provide.
Stripe processes payment card and bank information on our behalf. We do not receive or store your complete card number or bank credentials.
Our hosting and security providers may automatically receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to provide and improve the service, process subscriptions and refunds, create and manage client workspaces, communicate about milestones, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, keep business records, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service providers
We disclose information to providers that help us operate the business, such as Stripe for billing, Trello for project collaboration, Loom for recorded updates, hosting and infrastructure providers, email providers, analytics or monitoring providers, and professional advisers. They may use information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.
Some client projects require additional third-party services. We will discuss material project-specific providers with you as part of the engagement.
5. Other disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce our agreements, or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Cookies and similar technology
The Devyou marketing website does not currently use advertising cookies. Our infrastructure and linked services may use cookies or similar technology that is necessary for security, payment, preferences, and basic operation. Stripe applies its own privacy policy when you use its hosted checkout.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why we hold it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International processing
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

11. Children
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date.
